Since our charities incorporation
The Footpath
Stage 1 of the Footpath was completed 2nd February 2024. The Principal funders were The Levenseat Trust, National Lottery, Scottish Government.
The Apple Orchard
The land was cleared by volunteers on the 18th October 2021 and 40 mixed Apple trees were planted the following day by volunteers and the students from Addiewell Primary Schools
The Soft Fruit Orchard
Land was Cleared in the autumn of 2021 and the fruit trees planted in February 2022. A further batch were planted on the 18/19th October 2022
Trees and Scrub Plants
A total of 250 trees and scrub were planted over the years 2021 to 2022. These included Gooseberry, hawthorn birch and willow.
Cattle Fencing
Fencing was installed around compartment 1 by a contractor in early spring 2020 just prior to lockdown but it was not until the following winter before cattle were let into the field.
