Following COP26 in November 2021, the Scottish Government invited the Scottish Communities Climate Action Network to establish regional climate action hubs across Scotland. ELCAN and Lil CIC with support from SCCAN were successful in securing funding from the Scottish Government to set up our own Hub which we launched at Queen Margaret University on 23rd January 2024

Already we have held a launch event, distributed 16 small grants and hit the ground running with the Green Futures Festival!
The East Lothian Climate Action Network is represented by a Steering Group which inputs to the strategic direction for the work of the Hub and its team.
