There seems to be a little confusion about what membership of Greenbank Woods means, and we hope to clarify that here.
We did check back and make sure we hadn’t made a mistake at the beginning, but the messages were correct, so our apologies if they were read any other way. It does go to show that if you aren’t sure, ask. We have contact details on the site if you aren’t sure who to talk to.
To be clear, being a member of Greenbank Woods does not tie you to the company in any way. It gets you on the mailing list to receive all updates and be involved in the decisions facing the company and therefore the Woods.
A member means being a part of Friends of Greenbank Woods, not a company just a group of like-minded people. Again, this doesn’t tie you to anything apart from helping make the decisions and ensuring that these aren’t left in the hands of one or two people.
The only people officially involved in the company are the Steering Group, interim or permanent, who are all Directors of Greenbank Woods Ltd.
Any questions, contact details are on the site, or just ask one of the Steering Group.
