Groups, whether they are incorporated or not, can join SCCAN and can then get a space. At the moment individual members are excluded from the free offering.

Once you have joined and your membership appears in the member directory and the map, contact website@sccan.scot and we’ll take it from there.

Existing Spaces members can set you up too. The steps are:

Add a New User e.g. janeblogs with their business email (that they manage not a generic ie a shared one – password sharing is not allowed)

(each user must have an individual account on Spaces – accounts should not be shared).

If you’re thinking of getting a space, it is a good idea to have a simple outline of what you would like to achieve. Types of website you can create with spaces:

• A single page website
• A blog or News site
• A multi page website with or without blog / news

A limited palette of options is available to help you get started. The deceptively simple offering is very versatile and can be fashioned flexibly to meet most publishing needs.
