Fife Climate Hub Small Grants fund: Offers small grants of £250 to FCCAN members to support climate related activities in communities who are less engaged in climate issues. These activities must take place during the Fife Climate Festival between 1st June – 30th June 2026. Deadline: 19th April 2026.
General Funding
easyfundraising Impact Fund: Offers 20 grants (unrestricted) of £500 to UK not-for-profit organisations to help you continue or enhance your work. Deadline: 5th April 2026.
Ballantrae Community Fund: Funded by ScottishPower Renewables community benefit fund, from its Glen App Windfarm in South Ayrshire. Offers grants between £1,000 and £25,000 to support projects located within or directly benefitting the area of Ballantrae in South Ayrshire. Deadline: 10th April 2026.
Regenerative Fund for Nature: Offers funding of between £100,000 and £500,000 over three years to support projects that help farming groups and organisations try out and grow farming methods that work with nature. Deadline: 30th April 2026.
Sea-Changers Innovation Fund: Offering grants of up to £10,000 to UK organisations to help them deliver new and innovative approaches and solutions to Britain’s marine conservation challenges. Deadline: 30th April 2026.
The Weir Charitable Trust: Offers grants of up to £25,000 to Scottish charities and community groups to support activities in the areas of sport, health, culture, animal welfare and recreational facilities. Deadline: 1st May 2026.
Youth Ocean Action Fund Project Grant: Offers grants between £100 and £500 to support projects, campaigns and other activities that help Scottish young people aged 16-25 build their advocacy skills to tackle marine issues. Deadline: 4th May 2026.
Just Transition Fund for the North East and Moray: Offers funding of up to £17 million to support projects in the North East and Moray which contribute towards the region’s transition to Net Zero. It will be split across three funding streams which include commercial and public sector projects, community and social enterprise projects and the supply chain pathway and challenge fund. Various deadlines: 11th and 22nd May 2026.
Highlands and Islands Environment Foundation: Offers funding from £5,000 to £20,000 to community groups working in the Highlands and Islands to support projects that aim to protect and restore nature in the area. Deadline: 13th May 2026.
Hydro Community Fund: Offers funding of between £10,000 and £100,000 to support community projects that encourage community growth and improvement and protect the natural environment of the local area. This is open to residents in community council areas that host SSE’s hydro assets. Deadline: 25th June 2026.
The Screwfix Foundation: Grants of up to £5,000 for projects that improve, repair or maintain buildings and facilities used by people in need. Funding is available for practical building works such as heating upgrades, energy-efficient lighting, kitchen and bathroom installations, safety improvements and sensory spaces. Deadline: 30th June 2026.
Stafford Trust: Offers grants of between £500 and £5,000 to support UK charities with a variety of projects such as animal welfare, sea rescue and community projects. Deadline: 30th June 2026.
Ongoing funds/rolling deadlines
Climate Action Fund – Food Systems: The National Lottery Community Fund is inviting applications to its new Climate Action Fund – Food Systems programme. Partnerships between UK non profit organisations can apply for grants of between £2.5 million and £7 million for ambitious projects that strengthen food systems, tackle food insecurity and work with nature. Projects will run between five and seven years. Applications are accepted at any time.
The National Lottery Community Fund – Community Action: Offers grants from £20,001 to £250,000 for community projects lasting up to 5 years. They’re looking to fund projects that will improve people’s access and connection to nature and/or support people’s health and wellbeing. Applications are accepted at any time.
National Lottery Awards For All Scotland: Offers funding from £300 to £20,000 to support projects that bring people together and help communities across Scotland thrive. Funding can be used to start a new activity or continue an existing one. Applications are accepted at any time.
The Pebble Trust: Offers grants of up to £10,000 to support projects that meet their charitable objectives of community development, environmental protection and education and science. They also must contribute to reducing our dependency on fossil fuels and finite resources. Applications are accepted at any time.
Zero Waste Scotland – Circular Economy Accelerator Grants: Offering grants of up to £75,000 to Scottish organisations to support projects that advance circular economy practices. Applications are accepted at any time.
Martin Wills Wildlife Trust Maintenance Grants: Typically offers grants between £1,000 and £2,000 to UK charities to support the conservation and maintenance of the natural environment for the benefit of the public. Particularly in rural areas. Applications are accepted at any time.
Sea-Changers Scottish Learning Fund: Provides small grants of up to £750 to enable early-stage and/or small community groups in Scotland that focus on marine conservation to learn, share knowledge, network and develop skills with other groups. Applications are accepted at any time.
Boots Charitable Trust: Organisations can request a donation of Boots stock to raise money for a charity. Fill out a donation request form and a pick-up can be requested from your local store.
