We are all living in a changing world. The Story Weaver Team at SCCAN would like to encourage you to take time out each month to Creative Journal around the changes we are living through. This practise is an opportunity to connect with what matters to you, the changes you are bearing witness to and stories of possible futures you’d like to tell. Each month we’ll be providing a series of prompts to help you do just that.
This month we are focusing on letter writing. This may seem like an old fashioned way of communicating, but it’s deeply personal and letters are physical objects to be kept, looked after and referred back to. Try writing to your community, expressing as best you can your insights, ideas, passions, memories and hopes for the future. Try writing three letters:
Write a letter to your community ten years ago.
Write a letter to your community now.
Write a letter to your community in ten years time.
