SCCAN AWARDS 2026
We’re delighted to open nominations for this year’s SCCAN Climate Action Awards taking place at our national gathering in Stirling in November – a celebration of the inspiring people and organisations driving change across Scotland.
We’re inviting you to nominate those in our network who deserve recognition for their creativity, impact, and dedication. Please use the nomination form below:

Below are the three award categories for 2026:
Innovation Award
This award recognises a person or organisation demonstrating innovative thinking or outside‑the‑box approaches to tackling climate change locally or nationally. Criteria:
- Can be a person or organisation
- Work must be in Scotland
- Looking for unusual practice, new solutions, or creative use of existing resources
Young Star Award
This award celebrates a young person (aged 25 or under) who has excelled in climate action over the past year. Criteria:
- Work must be in Scotland
- Person must be 25 or younger
- Looking for examples of maturity beyond their years, innovation, or clear impact
Impact Award
This award recognises a person or organisation whose work has had a significant, evidenced impact on their local or national environment. Criteria:
- Can be a person or organisation
- Work must be in Scotland
- Must show clear, evidenced impact
