Our member Callum Gibson who’s interested in videography wanted to produce a video showcasing an environmental initiative teaching young volunteers the benefits of being in nature and the importance of understanding the natural world around us.
“Dalkeith Community Garden” by Volunteer Midlothian, aims to do this every Thursday, when the volunteers come into the garden and are met by familiar faces. Some of the younger volunteers have various learning disabilities and require a calm, controlled environment. The garden is the perfect place for that.
