We are excited to announce that SCCAN have started a collab project with SCVO Growing Climate Confidence In Real Life stories to add podcasts to their storytelling mix and support their ClimACTical game workshops outside the central belt.
During June SCCAN’s Story Weaver, Kaska Hempel, along with Chiara Fingland and Sarah McArthur from SCVO have travelled together to Dumfries and to Moray to help facilitate the ClimACTical game workshops for community groups and to visit community projects that wanted to share their climate confidence journey stories.
Kaska said:
It’s been a delight to see how the game got people excited about talking and thinking about such a dry topic as running an organisation. Everyone got into the role-playing with gusto and there was a real buzz in the room. And all walked away with useful ideas to put into practice – and some new connections.
The first round of climate stories will be published on the SCVO Growing Climate Confidence In Real Life blog and 1000 Better Stories podcast by the end of summer.
