#EDSC 2022 – Stories from Newington Grange

In celebration of the European Day of Sustainable Communities, we would like to share 3 stories told at the National Mining Museum Scotland, with whom we partnered to collaborate for the Midlothian Climate Beacon. We want to continue joining efforts to widen participation in climate storytelling and climate communication and bring former mining communities of Newington Grange and the visitors to the museum together to listen and share.

The stories from the Midlothian Climate Beacon feature the films made by their student residency from QMU, a film of Dr Bunhead Rubbish Puppet Adventures, and a video of an artist who took part in Weathering Earth.

Thanks to the National Mining Museum Scotland, in particular Vicky, Mhairi, and Nicole for the friendship and the commitment to community climate education.
